Now I’m not a big fan of research polls and statistics…but I saw
this one and wanted to share it with you:

A national CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll released on Thursday,
March 20th, 2008 found that rising prices and declining home values
have left Americans strapped for cash. Of the more than 1,000
American adults surveyed in the poll:

* 59% said they have cut back on clothing purchases
* 75% have spent less on leisure activities, and…
* 61% have postponed major purchases such as furniture or appliances

You know it’s a shame when the economy is kicking our @$$ like this.

The fact of the matter is, if you’re marketing or promoting
anything online, I’m sure you’ve seen a slight (or MAJOR) decline
in your online income as of late.

If you’re making money online…that’s cool, but watch your behind
as this recession is slowly reaming us a new (you know what).

If you’re NOT making money online…that’s not cool.  Why? because
the recession is probably going to STOP you from making anything.

As a matter of fact, this recession is probably going to STOP
EVERYONE from making any kind of loot whatsoever.  We’ll see
massive amounts of marketers quitting the IM industry, returning
back to the blue-collor workforce to be corporate slaves (if they
can).

It’s going to get real bad, real soon, people…and coming from my
situation, I do not…I repeat DO NOT want to see you fall at the
hands of a bleeding economy.

So, if you’re marketing anything online, you need to learn to
recession-proof your online business, and your online marketing
strategies.  If you don’t, then well…you might as well start
playing the lottery, because that’ll probably be the only other
opportunity you have to strike it rich (or even survive) in the
future.

Now, there have been numerous attempts by marketers to try and sell
you some hugely expensive home study courses that’s supposed to
teach you how to ‘beat the recession’ with your online business.

And the only thing they’re teaching you in these long, overfluffed,
winded courses is how to merely SET UP an online business…PERIOD.

Well…here comes T.M. to the rescue again!  Here’s what I ended up

I censored out his website, but it lead to World Wide Loan Club, a private “loan club” (this is where I immediately knew what the hell was going on.  Anyway, here was my reply to him:

Worldwide Loan Club has numerous outside capital investors investing
into our program.

(They’re funded via the application fees they receive from
new members, who are truly the “investors”)

The amount of capital they invest is dependent on the
number of people in the program.

(Yeah, the number of people that they refer!)

My friend, this sounds like a new version of those HYIP ponzi
schemes they still run today.

Tell me that the site doesn't remind you of sites you'll find
at www.talkgold.com?

This site is dedicated to these HYIP schemes.  Three years ago, I invested
into some of them.  I made some, but lost a LOT more in the end.

Any program whose capital for loans are solely dependent on funds
from incoming members, is a ponzi scheme, and carrying out activities
with them can get you in trouble with the Federal Trade Commission and
the FBI.  You don't want that...

If I were you, I'd stay away from this site, and possibly ask
for a refund...if you ask me.

The two payment processors they use have been associated with ponzi
schemes.  Trust me, I've heard of alertpay and solidtrustpay.

And think about this...

You pay $99 and get two of your friends to pay $99.
That's $297 for the loan shark.

You only get $50 back as your first monthly installment,
and you STILL have to pay some of it back to the shark.

The size of your loan is not even determined...and funds
can be cut off when people stop joining.

They're
dependent on you paying and your referrals paying to fund your loan. 
Otherwise, the company folds, and everyone is sh** outta luck.

On top of that...what is the name of the legal business entity
that you are applying for a loan from?

If they fold...who are you going to sue?

Besides, I saw this site on moneymakergroup.com when I did a
search for it on Google.  I know moneymakergroup.com deals with
HYIP’s.  I know because I was a member of that forum…haven’t
been on there in years.

STAY AWAY, ASAP!  DON'T GET CAUGHT UP, MAN!

My friends, even though these sites promise you a sun and three moons, don’t buy into them.  The only thing you’re doing is making a nice sized donation to somebody you don’t know…and that donation is NOT tax-deductible. 

Seriously, stay away from these sites.  If you wanna invest money into something, invest it in gold.  With the dollar the way it’s going, gold’s only going to get higher, as the trading value of the US Dollar declines due to this horrible credit crisis, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae buyouts from the Gov’t, and the Federal Reserve printing up more counterfeit bills to save these failing banks.

In the end, say NO to HYIP’s and/or other ‘loan clubs’.

Hey readers!

If you live in the U.S. then you know that today is Labor Day, a day
where we celebrate the working class citizens for all of their hard
work that they’ve invested into society.

Honestly, I celebrate everyone from every country who busts their
hump to put food on the table for the ones they love.

But today’s day of celebration for me was marked with a little sad-
ness.  Let me tell you why…

First off, we all know Hurricane Gustav is touching down in the
Gulf of Mexico right into Louisiana and Texas.  I feel for the
people who have homes down there, because I know they all had to
deal with this nonsense three years ago when Hurricane Katrina hit
them hard.

So, I’m sending a big prayer out to them for their safe welfare.

But also, another reason why it wasn’t so cool for me is because I
actually had a snag with the download page for me and Carlton’s
Labor Day Firesale.

So I had to personally email a ton of people their download links
because I made a slight error with the URLs on the download page.

Oops!

But it got fixed, and now everyone is able to download their items
