I’m sure you know how SEO is supposed to be the magic holy grail of
free website traffic. This is true, but for many, it doesn’t
matter how much info you buy, it still takes time to get good
ranking, let alone PLACEMENT, on Google, Yahoo and MSN.

These are the top 3 when it comes to free SEO traffic.

But in order to achieve these results, you probably have to go thru
nonsense like this…

After you’ve already awakened early in the day, and after listening
to your boss rant and rave and belittle you, and after you come home
to all the drama that’s already in your life like kids, health, bills
and other crap…

…then you get some time to do some SEO work. And since you’re new
to it, you don’t know much since other ebooks have pretty much fried
your brain. And you’re probably already tired from all the b.s.
you had to deal with today.

So, you work a little bit, at least before you nod off. You wake up
in the middle of the night with an imprint of your keyboard on your
forehead.

was at Walmart, having to come home to more drama, and then be up

cheapskate. I hate paying for traffic, and I avoid it at all costs.

Even if it meant waking up with an imprint of a computer keyboard on
my big, shiny forehead.

If you feel what I’m talking about…then you know about how much of
an idiot you look like when you do go to bed, and your significant
other is like “what the hell is that on your face?!”

Your response…HARD WORK.

Well, the hard work is over, for you AND me…because there’s an

seen sites uglier than Freddy Krueger do major numbers online just
from the traffic they were getting. And most of the time, the
traffic they were getting was a direct results from the linking
strategies that this software does.

So, like I said…I invite you to stop all the hard work at getting
people to visit your blogs and websites. I invite you to spend more
time doing what YOU want to do, instead of ‘fishing’ for website
visitors.

deadline. So, make sure you file your taxes to avoide late fees and
additional penalties. And yes, Paypal counts as income. Even
though they’re not a banking institution and even though they don’t
give you 1099 forms, Paypal is still income…so claim it on your
Schedule C when you file your taxes.

Now, I’m not a tax professional, so I advise you check with one
before you file your return this year. I had to kick out some major

This isn’t going to seem like a secret to many, but this one is a real gem that I’d thought I would share with you.  With this, you’ll be able to get people who normally would have never wanted your product…but then all of a sudden they want it like crazy!

OK, here it is…

Demonstrate a need for your business.

Seriously, you have to give someone a reason for wanting to do business with you or your company.  What’s that reason going to be?  That’s why you have to demonstrate a need for your business.

Let’s say you sell a bunch of books about personal financial education.  Now, to an average joker like me, why would I ever want to shell out $49.95 for a bunch of books teaching me what to do with my money?

Well, you might want to start by showing WHY someone would want to learn more about handling their finances better.  You can show them in an article about the declining value of the dollar is going to lead to higher prices for everything, and how inflation is imminent.  This could lead to the elimination of Social Security, which means no money for you in the future when you get old.  So, managing your money better NOW, will help you in the long run.

And you can go into great detail with some statistics backing up your claims…maybe even get some recordings or people on the street agreeing with you, or something similar. But the fact is, you’re trying to show people that they NEED your product, and you’re giving them a reason.

I mean, if you just put the books out there, with a sales page talking about what your books are all about…then why would someone want your books?  You need to show them WHY they need your book.   Look at all the infomercial gurus out there.  These long commercials show you different NEEDS for their product.  They don’t just talk about what the product does.  They give you instances where the product is NEEDED…point blank.  And if someone can relate to the situation(s) being presented, they’ll understand that they NEED the product in order to remedy their own problematic situation.

Like I said, it might not seem like much, but you’d be surprised as to how many business’ websites do not show a need or an immediate purpose for their item/service.  Maybe this post will get more people looking at their own websites and sales copies…and see if they’re showing an instance where someone would NEED their product or service.

OK.  This post is going to sound a little weird coming from me, because I’m not a big fan of network marketers and companies that embody that type of marketing environment for their affiliates/distributors.

But, the fact is…everywhere I go, I’m being BOTHERED by network marketers.  Point blank…I hate it.  It’s like…oOo I have someone’s email address.  Or oOo I have someone’s attention for a minute.  Let me pitch him/her my money making opportunity!

I’m involved in many social network sites, and I really go on those sites to not only meet and greet new and potential customers, but also to spread knowledge and make contacts.  But there is an evil group of these social networkers who ABUSE this privilege to try and pitch their opportunity on everyone with an account.

Seriously, this pisses me off.  Hence, why I’m here today to TEACH you how to properly promote your opportunity to someone.  Please take notes, as this is quite simplistic, people.

OK…let’s go…

The big secret to network marketing is knowing your product to a T, and then presenting your opportunity to those who ASK for it.  That’s it.  Otherwise, if you’re FORCING people to hear you out, and BEGGING them to join up, you’re like a car with no gas.  You’ll be going nowhere, and you’ll sure as hell will get there fast.

How can you tell whether someone is perfect for your opportunity?  Well, my greatest tool for pinpointing whether people are perfect for your opportunity, is CONTENT.  Yes, that’s my secret.

People who are interested in your content, will want to find out more about it.  And will proceed to the next phase, which is getting a hold of your opportunity.

For instance, let’s say you promote Pre-Paid Legal.  Now, I know this company is a reputable company, but some of the people who are involved with them are horrible marketers.  So, they should listen up…

Why would someone want to join Pre-Paid Legal?  Well, I know one reason would be because you get access to a highly reputable attorney at a fraction of the price…since it’s almost like ‘lawyer insurance’.  As long as you put in the pool, you’ll get a lawyer when it’s your turn.  Just like medical insurance and auto insurance.

So, the price point would be a major factor.  Now, you just have to come up with the content where you discuss Pre-Paid Legal as the solution to finding a lawyer for cheap.

Why would someone need a cheap lawyer?  Write a report that discusses needs for lawyer services, and discuss Pre-Paid Legal being a economically sound solution to paying high legal fees.

Or, write articles around this.  Base an entire newsletter around reasons why you would NEED Pre-Paid Legal.  Write an ebook talking about the entire Pre-Paid Legal compensation plan as a ’stream of income’.  Create a website for it, create an affiliate program for selling the ebook, so that other people and webmasters will want to promote it for you.

So, you’d have affiliate marketers selling your ebook that’s basically a long form endorsement for Pre-Paid Legal’s services and such as a solution for someone’s legal problems.   You ask your customers to sign up to your email newsletter (autoresponder) after they buy your ebook, and use the email newsletter to communicate with these guys to get them to really take the next step into investing in Pre-Paid Legal.

There you go.  That’s MY secret for network marketers.  When I come across an honest one, I’d show them how to build up their prospects for their programs.

The key is, content is king.  I don’t care how many times you’ve heard it…it’s TRUE.  Only people who are truly interested in an opportunity or service will SEARCH for it.  Search engines, social network groups, blogs, etc.  You just have to find out where they would go to look for an answer…and put your CONTENT there.

Once you have a prospect, you basically have to do the following:

• Tell them your experience with the program, and why you devote your time to it. And be HONEST!
• Offer your assistance once they sign up to your program, and be there for them.
• Show them how to promote the opportunity.

THAT’S IT!

Let’s be real here…when it comes to ANY opportunity that you joined up with, what were your main concerns?

1. Why would I need it? You tell them with your CONTENT.  They were looking for your content, and it basically gives them the reasons they need.
2. I wanna see proof that it’s worth my time and money.  That’s where your story comes in (and a few testimonials if you can get your hands on some from the program).
3. What if I need help? That’s why you offer your assistance, and continue to help them once they sign up. Don’t leave ‘em high and dry once money changes hands.  If you’re in a MLM, your success is based upon their referrals, too.
4. How would I do it? That’s why you have to teach them how to promote once they’re in…and let them know that’s what you’ll do, too.

All of your prospects’ needs should be addressed right there…and you should score sign ups with your program.

Hope this helps all the struggling network marketers.  And don’t even think about pitching me your opportunity.  I have my own opportunity.  It’s a website, and you’re on it right now.  LOL

I know people are going to criticize me for launching a product from a blog. But honestly, I don’t care. I’m not a big fan of sales pages whatsoever. People don’t read them. When was the last time you read an entire 30-page sales letter? If you
have, then you have NO life.

But let’s get down to business.

OK…see a month ago, I was actually ASKED by one of my subscribers if I would do a class on how I come up with my emails. CRAZY, RIGHT?

Yeah, someone wanted me to do an entire course on how I maintain my list, and how I draft my emails. They wanted to know the ‘formula’ behind it.

I never thought of what I do as a ‘formula’ or some type of blue-print or whatever.

But…it must be intriguing to certain people. Heck, I even know one guy on my list who has a list WAY bigger than mine…yet he hasn’t made a dime from it. Imagine…having 8000 leads, and not knowing what to do or how to
email them to get sales. I’m still baffled.

But anyway, my answer to this guy was the following…NAH…NOT NOW. MAYBE LATER.

Honestly, I wasn’t going to do it at all, but I was trying to at least be polite, you know?

But with all of this ‘product launch’ and ‘mass control’ hype…I FEEL I HAVE TO DO IT.

Now, I’m not the salesman type. I’m not a guru, although people say that I have makings to be the next big thing. I already know this. I just don’t try to flaunt this fact

I mean, I can remember 3 years ago TODAY, when I first got into the internet marketing game. It was April 1st, 2005, and I remember that I was still working at Wal-Mart as a camera department manager, making next to nothing…but I was actually satisfied, as I was still living with my folks, with NO responsibilities whatsoever.

While I was at work, I got the most important phone call of my life. My girlfriend was at the other end saying “I’m pregnant”. Well, after two more pregnancy tests to shatter my disbelief, I decided that same night to go online and type in those famous three words that I think EVERYONE searches for when you want to get in the internet marketing game…

“get rich quick”

And that’s when I started doing the dumbest crap in the world. I was buying every single ebook that had pictures of dudes surrounded by big houses, luxury cars, big yachts, and fat bank statements, saying that I could get rich ASAP. That’s when I was force-fed the whole Google Adwords thing. I was told about paid emails (that paid pennies). I was told about Ebay (which helped me out a great deal years later). I was told about Clickbank and other affiliate programs.

To make a long story short (and to prevent you from falling asleep while you’re reading this)…I was dazed and confused, just leisurely burning money on any ebook that promised riches. I should have been saving this money for my kids, but like I said…at the time, I was dumb and caught up trying to do anything to get paid.

Hell, I even did some things I wasn’t proud of to get paid. We’re not going to get into that, because that was a long time ago, and I do regret what I did.

But, it all came together one day, when I had finally gone BROKE. I mean, my first child was already born, we were living in a tiny cramped 1 bedroom apartment in a gang-infested neighborhood…and here I was BROKE. I was at war with the landlord over the rent, and I had received nice pink notices from the utility companies saying they were going to cut us off.

But, after finally scoring a successful Ebay auction and making some quick money to pay the bills and keep the landlord at bay, it wasn’t enough. See, the thing was, I had to keep doing what I was doing, while I was working full-time in retail, just to make ends meet…and it was more stressful than anything I’d ever experienced.

So, I continued to do what was working…but it wasn’t enough for me. You know, when you’re trying to escape the rat race (and the ghetto), you hunger for more.

So, now the question remains…what do you have to lose? You either see success or I don’t sleep. And if after that, my half-sleep self doesn’t make you a dollar, then I don’t see a dollar. That’s about as heartfelt and honest as I can be with you. I’m not in the business of doing people wrong, and running with their money. I’m in the business of watching people grow before my eyes from newbies into success stories, as well as possible business partners.

My thing is, I’m not going to put out something that isn’t going to work for you. I only put out things that are going to help you and I both.

So, I’m going to go now, because I got diapers and games of ‘ring around the rosie’ to tend to. Kids, gotta luv ‘em.
