Hey readers! I had the opportunity to review a killer product recently by Rob Benwell. Me and Rob have been in communication lately, and crazy enough, I only heard of him when I purchased his “Blogging to the Bank 2.0“. Good stuff…real good stuff. Check it out if you get a chance.

Anyway, Rob wanted me to review his guide “Niche Annihilation Method“. See, the thing is I haven’t heard from Rob in a while, and we used to talk a lot. Come to find out, he’s been doing a lot of niche marketing, in the most profitable of niches on the internet. This had me thinking about really stepping it up in the other niches I promote in.

Well, I read Rob’s guide last night in its entirety, and there was one thing about it that had me reading.

It’s no fluff and to the point.

Usually, if I’m trying to learn something, I just want to be told HOW to do it, without all the useless banter and such. That’s how I write my own stuff, so I was hooked from page 1. Seriously, there are a lot of guides about niche marketing, and to be honest, they are all really good. I’m not going to lie. But Rob’s is more concise, and gets right to the point. He basically teaches you the exact same thing HE does. When he talks about the websites he uses to promote his niche sites and products, he blew my mind. Seriously, half of the sites I had never heard of before reading it.

Me, I usually know where all the good sites are on the internet to use for promotion and services. I’m Mr. Cheapskate, remember?

But he gave me some news ones that I tried out last night, and it’s already been bringing me traffic to my niche sites. As far as sales, there’s no sales. My niche sites are for building mailing lists. If the articles generate sales, then cool. Otherwise, I’m trying to build my lists.

But seriously, Rob has outdone himself on this one. The last part of the book, he literally gives you a step-by-step action plan towards creating your own niche site, and bringing in the business right away. Rob uses the same exact action plan when he creates his own niche sites…so it’s definitely something I’ll be following from now on.

Anyway, definitely pick up a copy of Niche Annihilation Method by Rob Benwell. For the price tag that it’s at, it’s a steal, especially for some million dollar information.

I can guess that you use Paypal buttons on your website to collect payments. How do I know? You’re reading this article Enough jokes, but seriously having a Paypal button on your site to collect payments is a simple and easy way to get money for your stuff. Ebay uses it, websites use it, even some major retail chains like Walgreens use it.

But, if you’re the run-of-the-mill “work from home marketer” and you use Paypal buttons on your site, there are two issues that are probably plaguing your business…

1. Getting people to order in the first place
2. Keeping people from stealing your stuff

It’s one thing to get people to actually buy from your little website that you set up, right? I know many, many marketers who have simple paypal buttons on their site. And there’s two things that I always see wrong with them…

1. I’m not inspired to buy their stuff because the site or sales letter is crap
2. I can easily view the source of their webpage and could easily go straight to their download page it if I wanted to.

With many websites, there’s no reason I should buy from them, regardless if I really wanted the item or not. A lot of people don’t know how to dress up a web page nicely, and therefore turns me off from doing a sale. But there have been ugly sites that have made me purchased…solely because of the offer that was at hand.

Even if your offer is convincing, when you have a paypal button on your site, you can easily have your stuff hijacked. It’s simple. When you view the HTML code for the webpage, you could easily look at the < form > tag for their Paypal button, and look where it says “return“. The site in that variable is where you’ll be lead to after you spend your paypal.

Now, some marketers have gotten saavy and have used Paypal’s encryption feature to encrypt the information for their Paypal buttons…and that’s cool. It hides the information about the paypal button from anyone who checks out the source code.

But…it could still be jacked. HOW?!

Do a Google search for your site. Actually, do a Google search for: “site:www.yourwebsitehere.com”.

If your website has been indexed by Google, your download page may have also been indexed and people could view it using the “site: ” tag on Google. You could have the download page on another server. But that requires spending money on a domain and hosting for another site. Is that even feasible for you? I can tell it’s not.

Now, if you’re depressed over what I just told you about your Paypal buttons and offers, then stop pouting!

All you need is to make your offer more desirable and encrypt your download pages using Paypal’s Instant Payment Notification (IPN) service. Ever heard of that?

Paypal’s IPN service basically is a way for advanced webmasters to verify every sale. Advanced programmers and webmasters develop scripts that work hand-in-hand with Paypal’s IPN service to make sure that every person that visits their download page is a confirmed customer whose Paypal transaction has been verified by Paypal itself.

On this page you’ll find two tools that will make your customers not only buy NOW, but will also protect your download links, even if they appear in Google’s index. This might sound kinda ‘redundant’ but honestly, this is a slick way to make $100 a day online.

Have you ever heard of “20 Ways to $100 a Day“? It’s a remarkable book, and the only reason why I keep preaching about it, is because I think everyone should own a copy of it, and use it. It’s that good. But enough of my praises for its content. There’s something else about it…

They have a customers-only affiliate program that pays out 100% commissions on every sale, and the proceeds of the sale go directly to your paypal account instantly. So, whenever someone wants to buy the $27 ebook, you’ll pull $25.90 per sale. Even if your customer is in a different country than you, you’ll get $25.63 because of the currency exchange.

Anyway, if you pull four sales a day with that ebook, you’ll get at least $102.52. Cool, right?

So, how would you pull 4 sales a day? The answer is simple…use a blog. You don’t know how much I love blogging, as promoting my blog has been the best thing for my business in a long time.

Anywho, look over the book “20 Ways to $100 a Day” and really read into each and every way these guys pull $100 a day online with just their computer. What I would do, is write an article discussing your thoughts and “praises” for a particular technique, and even giving a summary of the method in your own words.

This is actually a variation of another technique I’ve written about, called “The Test Drive”

I explain how preselling your audience is crucial for selling products as an affiliate. In the article, I also advise marketers to let your prospects sample the product before they purchase, as a car salesman lets you sample their car with a ‘test drive’. In the end, the prospect will decide for themself whether or not they truly want what you have, especially when you let them ‘taste’ it.

One of the things I learned from being a retail manager in the past, was to let customers make the decision for themselves, and never pressure or push them into a sale.  In the end, you’ll get unsatisfied customers begging for a refund the moment they don’t like something.

Now, giving someone a summary of a portion of the book is one of the most killer ways to sell an ebook that you’re an affiliate for. When I promote ebooks, I usually like to divulge something in my own words from the product itself. I make more sales that way, because I’m giving them a ‘piece of the pie’, so to speak. Hopefully, after they have that piece, they’ll wanna buy the whole pie.

Usually, people wanna hype stuff up using persuasive sales page copy, or even by using cleverly drafted emails and blogs. But if you simply give them a piece of the pie, they’ll decide if they want the pie. Most times, people will want the whole pie…trust me.

Anyway, by writing a summary of one of the 20 techniques in “20 Ways to $100 a Day“, you’ll now have your own ‘piece of the pie’ to give to people.

So, put your summary on a blog, ping your blog via pingomatic.com or pingoat.com.

Also, use free press releases to gain some PR and possibly some links to your blog. Links to your blog will definitely drive more search engine and blog engine traffic.

Don’t forget to use social bookmarking and bookmark your posts. Use addthis.com if you need to. It’s a cool site that helps you bookmark your sites on tons of services. And did you know that you can ping your social bookmark pages? I know if you use del.icio.us, you get a RSS feed for your bookmark page. I usually just take the URL for the RSS feed, and ping it with pingomatic.com or pingoat.com. It drives more attention to my bookmarks, and boosts Google PR for my blog.

So, in the end, write an article that’s a summary of one of the 20 tactics in “20 Ways to $100 a Day“. Heck, you could rewrite this article here and use it to drive sales if you wish. But in the end, you can copy this article, and post as many articles and summaries on “20 Ways to $100 a Day” just so you can promote it. But you won’t score a sale if you’re not a customer…since it’s a customers-only affiliate program.

See, it’s best to know the product that you wanna promote before you promote it. That way, you can do summaries like I told you, or even simple product reviews, and be able to tell the truth about the product. Honesty is still a big seller to this day.

Here’s the thing about the whole web 2.0 video craze. People are using video to get their message out about their affiliate programs and websites. There’s no beating around the bush on that. Everyone that you see talk about using video, it’s done for that purpose.

Now, there are websites galore out there that want you to learn youtube marketing, and I’ve promoted some in the past. But it all comes down to this simple science, especially when it comes to dominating YouTube…find people on youtube interested in your niche, and get them to watch your video! That’s it!

Now, your video could be nothing more than your ugly mug on a webcam talking. I’ve found myself making a few quick bucks by posting a video on youtube and finding people to watch it. And then, in the video description, I display the URL I wanted people to visit.

But, if you have a mailing list, it’s easy to get your video out there. Just mail your list, duh!

But if you don’t have your own list, it’s not that hard to get your video out there.

When you set up your video, tag it up (keywords) real nice with relevant keywords just like Google. lol And usually when people view other videos, others get recommended because of the keywords chosen for the video.

But if that doesn’t work, and you don’t have a list…then you need to start networking like crazy on there and add people to your Youtube list. Your friends and subscribers’ list.

Crazily, this is similar to dominating myspace, as they’re both social networks.

A lot of my success on myspace is because I networked on there, and built my friends/subscribers list. I also kinda cheated my way to that success, because I was using a ‘friend adder bot’ to help me out. Of course, that program I was using died out, and I was using another for a while.

So, if you’re going to dominate Youtube with your video marketing, and you don’t feel like staring at your computer screen all day adding youtube freak after youtube freak…then you need a bot for that, too. You need a bot that’s going to go out there and find youtube members to add to your friend’s list…and eventually your youtube subscriber’s list.
