Live in Fear, Affiliate Marketer…They’re Onto You…

5 Reasons Why Affiliate Marketers Should Live in Fear

How Bad Do You Want Success?

T.M.'s Blurbs 10 Comments

Hey there readers!

In the last couple posts I’ve made, I’ve shown my lack of interest in the internet marketing niche.  Honestly, there isn’t much money in it anymore.  Ebooks just tell you the same rehashed crap, hefty audio/video courses leave you confused with a big hole in your wallet, and memberships just leave you paying for updated rehashed content.

I was once a victim to all this crap, but not anymore.

That’s why I’ve turned my attention to my other niches that I do online like online dating & music promotion.

Lately, I’ve also been thinking about what else I can offer my readers and subscribers who want to learn more about internet marketing and making money with it.  And honestly, I can’t.  I love writing articles and such, but I’m finding myself drained.

I find myself trying to write for every single person on my mailing list and my RSS subscribers.  So, the articles are very broad, and really don’t hit home with a lot of people.

I mean, what good is it to read a huge ebook and learn about getting traffic to your webpage, when half of the tactics aren’t meant for your niche?

What good is it to get a course about Mass Control marketing to make more money, when you’re not selling anything from your website?

The fact of the matter is, I write and write and write…but it’s not meant for everybody.  I hate writing articles for my subscribers, knowing that only a fraction will appreciate the content, and the remaining majority is sitting there feeling left out?  And in order to satisfy everyone, I’d have to write 50 articles a day for 50 different topics…and honestly, I’m not beat to do that.

One of the things that I’ve been known for in the underground marketing community, is for helping people, personally.  I love giving people personalized advice pertaining to their efforts and their websites/promotions.  I truly believe that this is the best way to really help somebody, instead of posting a broad article and leaving you stranded afterwards.

That’s why I said in my last couple posts that I’m going to stick to private email consultation and personal services that I do like creating graphics and lead capture pages for vendors and affiliates.  In all honesty, it’s the ONLY way that I can help someone, and actually make a difference.

Writing articles and publishing ebooks is cool. But, at the end of the day, 1 out of every 30 or 40 people who read your ebook will ever use the information, since it’s just text that’s not particularly aimed at the person.   This leads to refunds, naturally…and they kill my pockets.

Just imagine having an ebook or a promotion and busting your hump trying to promote it.  You get the sales, and you’re grinning all day long.  Then, you might get a word of praise from the one person who uses your content for good use.  After that, you get tons of disatisfied people asking for refunds or complaining.  Yes, this is what I deal with everyday, and to be honest, with all the stress going on in my life…it’s not worth it anymore.

Constantly having to come up with new content to keep my subscribers happy is hard work…and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise that it’s easy…because it’s not.

It’s really taking its toll on me, my brain and my body.  So, I’m making a solemn promise…to personally HELP PEOPLE on a 1-on-1 basis.

And I mentioned in past posts how that’s the only way you’ll get advice from me from now on….this is something that I will indeed hold up to the T.

But right now, here’s the thing:

I just got offered a job doing what I truly love to do…music production.  I’ve done it for so long since I was a freshman in high school, and I’ve never stopped striving for success with my music over the years.

Well, a friend and business partner of mine has just opened up a new recording studio not too far away from my residence.  He needs a recording engineer to man the controls…so naturally he called on me.  With my 10 years of audio engineering experience, he saw me as the perfect match.  The money sounds good, so I took him up on his offer.  Within the next week or two, we’ll be setting up the studio equipment and booking clients to come in and record their music.

So, with this being said, I’m not going to have time to really dedicate to the ‘internet marketing’ niche anymore…as I’ll be undertaking my newest venture in music, as well as putting more attention to my other niches.  In my mind, the internet marketing niche is played out.

So, in order to actually HELP people, and be able to undertake my new ventures…I have to cut out the IM niche almost completely.  No more guides, reports…maybe a few blog posts about online marketing.

And with my new schedule of business ventures coming up between music and my niche marketing, I really don’t have a lot of free time to really promote a lot or even help out a lot of people.  Seriously, this makes me feel so bad, and I might regret this decision down the line.  Usually, I answer damn near 100 emails every day from people who are striving to even pull that first dollar online.  I love getting these emails, but it’s taking away too much time from really doing what I wanna do in life.

All I wanna do in life is take care of my kids, love my wife, do my music, and build my online business.  I can’t build my business by sitting in the office until 3 or 4 AM responding to emails and trying to get people not to go forward with a refund.  It’s tiring as hell, and it’s taking a toll on my relationship with the misses!  We barely talk anymore, as my face is behind the PC most of the day. If I could show you a pic of me right this second, you’d see bags under my eyes.  It sucks when you don’t have a secretary.

In the past, I’ve made resolutions to spend less time away from the PC, but I can’t help it.  When you have to put food on the table for your two little rugrats, you can’t help but not be behind the PC, making sure your promotions are all squared away, and that people don’t request refunds…taking the food right off your kitchen table.

So, I’m going to do something I’ve never done before, in hopes that I’ll be able to finally do what I have to do, and truly help people out who have been following me for quite some time now…

I’m limiting myself to only helping 5 people…period.  That’s all I can do.

Understand that I’m only one man, and I can only be spread so thin.  Right now, I’d rather just limit myself to 5 people instead of trying to respond to 100+ people everyday asking for help, since no other marketer gives a damn about them.

Here’s some things I’ll be doing with thes 5 people.

  • help you make your first $1000 online (if you haven’t done so yet)
  • personally help you create the website you wanna create
  • help you get more traffic to your website (yes, YOUR website, not everybody’s)
  • help you do the technical work involved in setting up and updating your website
  • help you build your mailing list by any means necessary (without buying leads)
  • help you snag Joint Venture partners (by mailing all my JV partners)
  • help you write an ebook (if that’s what you want)
  • give you access to my JV Manager console that I use to collect payments for a lot of my products
  • help you set up a blog and get tons of traffic to it like my blog does
  • help you write your affiliate and email promotions

Seriously, that’s a lot of work to do, right?!  Now you see why I’m only giving up the opportunity to 5 people right now.  Those 5 people will get my full cooperation and total attention.

Anyone else who sends me emails will be pretty much ignored for now, unless its for customer service in regards to a product of mine.  Other than that, anyone asking for personal help will be ignored for now.  It’s nothing personal at all…it’s just that I’m making a promise to 5 people, and they’re going to get my help, 100%.  As one man, I can’t help out 100+ people everyday by myself.

So, the options were either hire a huge staff to help out, or limit the number of people I can help.  I chose the second one, because most of the emails I get aren’t helping my business any…sad to say.  I mean, if you’re my friend, then you already have my email and we can chat.  But if you’re asking for help, I just can’t do it like that anymore…sorry.

So, if you wanna be one of the 5 people who gets me as a coach to help you make your first $1000 online…keep reading.

Since this is my first run at publicly soliciting my coaching service, I can’t charge you an arm and a leg like others online do.  I’m only going to charge what I feel is right in my mind for million-dollar assistance, from a proven online winner…

I’m not going to display the price for it here on the blog, but if you click the ordering link below you’ll find out.  I’m not putting a time limit to this offer, but there is a cap on it.  Once 5 people get in, that’s it!  I’m done for now!

Good luck to you in your online endeavors and you have my blessing folks.  The next time you’ll see me pump out content for the IM niche won’t be for a while, like until April.  So, either read my old blog posts, read my ebooks for info, or get in on the coaching program before all 5 spots are filled.

Why the United States is Killing Internet Marketing

T.M.'s Blurbs 6 Comments

Hey there readers!

If you’ve read my previous post, you’ll know that I’m fed up with the whole ‘make money online’ niche.  It’s become harder than ever to even make a buck online.  Crazy enough, I remember when making more than $200 a day was not uncommon for me.   Now, I find it difficult to even break  $1K a month.

I’ve had to pull out all stops, and even do things I truly didn’t want to do, like release websites that I wasn’t ready to put out, buying ads in certain places, staying up til 3 or 4AM writing up a report to help boost my mailing list or even make sales.

None of it works anymore…sad to say.  Internet marketing has truly gone down the tubes, and I truly blame the U.S. for it.

How can I make such a bold statement?  Easy…it’s all on the feedback of my mailing list subscribers.

Normally, I post articles and relay helpful information to people.  None of it translates into sales anymore like it used to, and I truly believe that those who are still ‘bum marketing’ or article marketing are truly going to suffer.

But here’s some of the comments and concerns I’ve received from my own subscribers…

“I wish I could buy what you mentioned in your article…but I can’t afford it”

“I have overdue bills and credit cards”

“I’ll have to wait until my tax refund comes in”

“Can you just give it to me for free? I can’t afford the $7″

These are the comments I truly get from my subscribers, and it has me really weary for the future of the ‘make money online’ niche.  Crazy enough, all these comments come from my subscribers based in the U.S.   I have customers in the U.K., India, Singapore, Africa, Canada, everywhere!  But a majority of my subscribers are naturally from my home country, the U.S.

With so much nonsense happening here in the U.S. with subprime mortgages, people not being able to afford the ‘basics’ of life anymore…it’s reflected in the turnout to my promotions, and it’s really disheartening.  I don’t promote a bunch of ‘get rich quick’ products, but only stuff that I’ve read and truly recommend to my online entrepreneurs who are trying to strive for success.  I’d rather not damage my reputation by promotion a scam-like product.

Man, I can remember back in 2005 when I first got started doing this stuff.  Next month, in April, it marks three years that I’ve been marketing online.  Sad to say, my first taste of success wasn’t until almost a year ago.  I remember, the economy was still trash, but not trash enough to the point where I couldn’t get by.  Even with all my hard work, I was still making some money, but not enough to write home about.  It helped me get by, and not it barely does.

Nowadays, with the advent of so many ‘giveaways’ and people trying to copy off of Frank Kern’s Mass Control launch, it seems like no one pays for anything anymore.  Everyone wants it for free, and now my own subscribers don’t wanna pay for nothing either.

I look at my own career, and noticed that I did pay for a lot of stuff, but in the end it’s all helped me.  And if it didn’t help me, I got a refund, simple as that.  Now, people don’t even wanna take that risk anymore.  The top businesspeople in the world took risks when they started their business, and most even suffered huge failures along the way.  Of course, they became learning experiences for their next project.

But, it’s just the state of the U.S. Economy that’s really shaking stuff up here for us online marketers in the U.S.

The question is…should we now target all of our promotions to those outside of the U.S.?  Is the United States a “dead zone” for promotions?

C’mon…it’s truly evident that Americans aren’t buying anything anymore, online and offline.  How do I know?  Why not ask President Bush why he’s giving our citizen’s spending cash to spend in June?  Even the government knows how bad things are here to the point where they’ll sacrifice the value of the U.S. Dollar so that they can print up more money to hand out to people to ultimately spend in the stores.

I think you and I both know, that Americans aren’t going to be spending this money in stores to boost the economy like the goverment suggests we do.  I know people are going to be using that $300-$1200 check to pay off bills, debt, and take care of what’s important (like family) rather than blow it on something that we’re probably only going to use once, and then get a refund on it anyway.

It should’ve been a ‘wake up call’ for internet marketers in the U.S. when the government wanted to give us money to ‘put back into the economy’.  This should’ve told you that Americans aren’t buying anything anymore.  Have you noticed that U.S. business’ earnings for the last quarter have all dropped?  I think the only company in the U.S. that actually turned a profit last year was Wal-Mart, and that was by a small 2-3% from what I heard on the news.

If the ‘broke man’s store’ like Wal-Mart is barely seeing increases, and Wal-Mart is where the poor people and cheapskates shop, this should show that even the lowest prices in the world still can’t get people to buy.

I’ve even noticed myself cutting corners here in my household.  Eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for breakfast lunch and dinner on occasion for me and the children…buying kool-aid mix instead of buying actual juice and drinks…paying off certain bills and leaving others for the next and just deal with the late fees later…yeah it’s hard!

In my last post, I mentioned how I’ll be exploring other niches instead of this ‘make money online’ niche.  To be honest, if you really wanna find where the money is online…it’s not in the ‘make money online’ niche anymore…it’s in the ‘keep my money’ niche.

People are no longer looking for a way to get rich quick.  They’re looking for a way to stay alive, period…and hopes, dreams and wishes are no longer being bought into.

I remember when The Rich Jerk and other ‘get rich quick’ books were the top of Clickbank.com

Now, I’ve noticed, they all have taken a backseat to other niches that are actually helping people with their financial situations.  I think one of the top products on Clickbank was a piece of software that finds promising penny stocks called MARL.  Crazy enough, I checked it out, and I think it’s crap…but everyone is buying into it, because every ‘make money online’ book is disappointing people more than ever before.

Back in the day, someone would buy a ‘make money online’ book just to see how they can make some extra money.  Now, more and more people are buying these books and literally praying and relying on them to help them get by in life.  It’s no longer about just making some extra money to live a better life.  Now, people are buying these same guides because they’re not trying to make extra money…but rather actually MAKE MONEY…PERIOD.

And when these guides aren’t making any money for these guys, they get HOT, they get PISSED, and they’re damn near ready to sue you for not saving their life.  The entire mentality behind IM really sucks now.  I know we’ve all heard that cliche “95% of internet marketers fail”.  Well, I think that figure is up to 99.99% now.  The only people who are truly prospering online are those who have been doing it way before the slip in the U.S.’ economic future.  And if you haven’t been doing it before the start of the recession, they the only way you can prosper in this niche is to literally ‘ride the coat tails of someone successful’.

All these new people that pop up with products that get heavily promoted by others, they’re riding the coat tails of someone else.  And we all see the same people over and over again with product after product.  No one news has anything to offer.  And if someone new does come around…it’s because they’re either longtime pals of a ‘guru’ or they probably won some contest being help by an internet marketer where they promised to JV with you for being a winner in their stupid contest.

2008 is going to be a real dismal year for internet marketing in my opinion.  A recession in the U.S. is afoot, and for us Americans in the online marketing game who have a list of mostly Americans, it’s gonna hurt us big time in the wallet.  The only way American internet marketers can overcome the financial drama here in the U.S. is to do one of two things…

1) Invest your money in foreign currency and metals and let it sit there for a while.  Other countries’ currencies aren’t declining or taking hits like the U.S. Dollar has.  And notice…the price of Gold in the U.S. is only going up…that’s because the Dollar is going down, down, down thanks to the government.  Seriously, I wish I would’ve taken my friend’s advice and put a ton of my money into Gold and other currencies.

2) Start targeting your market for those outside of the U.S.  People in the U.S. aren’t buying anything anymore, because they can’t afford it anymore.  So why promote to Americans?  I’ve found myself shifting my promotions to attract more foreign website visitors rather than Americans.  I’ve found myself posting my ads on Craigslist in other countries instead of posting in U.S. folders.

And every small biz ad on Craigslist is for what?  Loans and financial assistance.  My ads used to get cluttered up amongst all the loan brokers and mortgage specialists on there.  That must be the niche for the U.S. this year…financial help.

Maybe myself and other Americans should be focusing on not teaching people how to make money, but rather put our attention in actually helping people better manage their money and get them on the path to financial prosperity, without the use of Google Adwords and Google Adsense, and Clickbank and Paypal.

To be honest, if someone were to teach me how to properly safeguard my cash and make it grow instead of how to ‘make money online’ I’d probably dump my entire next Clickbank check on it in a heartbeat.

Americans are trying to get out of a recession, not dig ourselves a bigger hole for this recession.

Sorry for the long rant, but I think it’s needed for any man, woman and child who’s in the internet marketing field.  Yes, I said ‘child’ because sad to say, I’ve seen more and more kids (like still in Jr. High) who are now doing this after they get out of school.  Are their parents that strapped for cash that they kids have to do affiliate marketing to help their parents get by in life.  WOW.

These are just a few things you should really put some thought into.  Do you really wanna do internet marketing anymore?  If you do…good.  I wish you nothing but success.  But you won’t find me trying to ‘make people rich’ anymore.  Why?  This might sound dumb but…people aren’t trying to ‘get rich quick’ anymore!  They’re just trying to get by for Christ’s sake!

I know this for a fact.  I’ve had tons of people unsubscribe from my list not because of my emails, but because they’ve lost faith in IM…and more and more people are losing their faith in it quick, and are simply getting refunds for anything they’ve purchased (hurting marketer’s wallets), and are putting more and more time into that full-time job they have.

The whole ‘be your own boss’ idea is dead.  People don’t wanna be bosses, they wanna survive.  What good is it to strive to be a boss, when you loved ones are suffering from the lack of income in the process of your journey to be the ‘online guru’?

Just some food for thought.  You can catch me actually promoting things that people NEED and not what people WANT.

Good luck to you,

T.M. Harris

Build Your Mailing List with Private Label Content

As all legitimate Internet Markets are well aware of today, a mailing list is a lot more than just a handy thing to have. An opt-in mailing list is absolutely vital to the survival of any Internet business. In 2002 the Congress of the United States passed what is referred to as the CAN SPAM act.

The act became the law of the land in 2003 and since that time internet merchants cannot legally send bulk advertising email to anyone who is not a member of their opt-in mailing list. It is illegal to do so and the fines and penalties are stiff to put it mildly.

The opt-in mailing list is the lifeline of all internet businesses and building an opt-in mailing list is a subject that is discussed in depth among Internet Marketers no matter what niche they are involved in.

You have no doubt read again and again about the tried and true list building methods that are advocated by all of those who are in a position to really know the facts.

There are ways in which private label materials can be used to build opt-in mailing lists.

Before I can explain the use of Private Label Rights material to build your own opt-in list, I first need to explain what Private Label Rights material is exactly and the way you should view this material.

Private Label Rights is a relatively new-comer to the Internet Marketing scene. Although the basic concept of Private Label Rights has been around the brick and mortar marketing scene for many, many years, the idea has just recently been introduced into the world of internet commerce.

In the brick and mortar world of commerce, companies purchase raw materials all the time. Raw materials are the real world equivalent of internet Private Label Rights material.

Brick and mortar world businesses use raw materials to create new products which they then place on the shelves of retail merchants. The retail merchants, in turn, sell these products to the general public.

This is much the same way that Private Label Rights materials are most often used in internet commerce but these very same raw materials can also be used to build opt-in mailing lists.

It is of the utmost importance that you view Private Label Rights materials ONLY as raw material.

They are not finished products. Private label material can be used unchanged in newsletters and E-zines but even that limited use is not recommended.

If private label content materials are used unchanged, the chance of search engine spiders identifying them as duplicate content is multiplied a thousand fold. So you should always make changes to Private Label Rights material.

These materials are simply raw materials that, when used correctly, save you time, effort and money and help you achieve your goals in a great deal less time than it would take you if you had to write every word of text yourself.

Changing this raw material (Private Label Rights) into new digital products that you can use in any way you wish, is a fairly simply and very quick process.

In the real estate market it is said that only three things matter; location, location, location. In the world of Internet Marketing there is also only three things that matter; list building, list building, list building.

Using Private Label Rights material to create private label products is really not very difficult.

The work has mostly been done for you. The first thing that should be done is that the title of the article, E-Book or report should be changed.

That change, if you are smart, will include your name or the name of your company.

If you have private label E-Book about dog training, for example, and the title is ‘Easy Dog Training’, the title should be changed to something like, ‘John Does’ Easy Dog Training’.

The second thing to do is to change the appearance of a Private Label Rights product. If the product is an E-Book, change the cover.

If the product is an article, change the entire first entire first paragraph and add a sub headline.

You can also add graphics or affiliate links. You can add to a Private Label Rights material or take away from it.

You can separate an E-Book into a series of articles or combine a series of articles into an E-Book. Do what you want to do with the material but if you really want to use these Private Label Rights materials to build your opt-in list, you need to do one very, very important thing.

Include a way in your private label product for people to join your mailing list!

Maybe you are planning on selling your new private label product with master Resell Rights. If this is the case, then whatever, you have included in the work will be there when it is resold.

If there is a link in the work that will lead readers to your website and to your opt-in list, then the book will be out there working for you long after you have moved on to new projects.

The beauty of this is that it will work even if you also give re-branding rights to your private label product.

It will even appear that the merchant who is reselling your product is in effect recommending you and your mailing list to the readers.

Add a bonus to your private label product that leads to your opt-in mailing list:

Remember again, whatever you have included in your private label product will stay there even when you give Resell Rights to the product AND even if you give re-branding rights as well.

Resell Rights does not include editing rights. Re-branding rights only allows for the title to the work to be changed.

If you include an offer in your Private Label Rights product for a free subscription to your E-zine, everybody who buys that book will get that offer as well. Is this list building magic? You bet! People do love FREE anything.

If you have a membership website, you might include a free trial membership link in your private label product as well. Again…it is a freebie that very few people can resist and it is a great list building technique.

Use your private label product to advertise yourself, your website and your opt-in list:

Have you ever heard that old saying, ‘Advertising pays’? The giants of industry both online and off line live by that motto. ‘Advertising pays’ is their mantra.

Subtle advertising, blatant advertising, paid-for advertising, free-advertising…no opportunity for advertising is ever ignored by those who are in a position to know just how valuable advertising is.

As you are changing a Private Label Rights work into your own original and unique product, you need to keep advertising yourself, your website, and your opt-in list in mind.

Include these subtle or even not-so-subtle advertisements in the text of the Private Label Rights work that you are modifying.

These advertisements can be included in the front of the work, at the end of the work and scatter through the mid part of the work.

It is of the utmost importance that a product that you create using Private Label Rights materials be of real value to those who will ultimately purchase it but that doesn’t mean that you can’t also advertise yourself, your website and your mailing list in the process.

Use Private Label Rights products that you create in all of the usual and accepted methods of list building:

Other than selling products that you have created by using Private Label Rights materials, you can also use these same reworked materials in various tried and true list building strategies.

With sufficient changes articles and E-Books created from Private Label Rights materials can be submitted to article banks and E-Book repositories for other website owners and E-zine publishers to use free of charge.

They are required to include your resource box when these articles and E-Books are used and they cannot be modified in any way. So if you have included links to your website and thus to your opt-in list in these articles and E-Books, others will be promoting you to their own lists and on their own websites.

Private Label Rights articles that have been sufficiently rewritten can also be used as forum and blog posts above your signature tag that includes a link to your website. This is an excellent and time-saving method that will allow you to post to blogs and forums more frequently and even more effectively with a lot less time and effort on your part.

There are many ways to use private label products for the purpose of list building even if you are making a boat load of money at the same time.

You can probably come up with a few more and even more creative ways to use Private Label Rights products for list building on your on.

Blog Blaster, Feed Blaster & Sebastian Foss - ALL LIES?!

Recommended Articles 3 Comments

Hey there readers!

Crazy enough, I was almost stupid enough to invest in some software by a guy I had heard of two years ago, who did several ebooks and software. Come to find out, the software could actually do some major damage to you and your sites. Before you go dumping hundreds of dollars on a guy named ‘Sebastian Foss’…read this article.

Blog Blaster, Feed Blaster, Instant Booster, and e-Trinity Internet Marketing are FRAUDS

BUT WHEN YOU’RE DONE READING THE ARTICLE…CHECK THIS OUT INSTEAD…

If you’re that serious about buying any of Foss’ software to pretty much spam your way to traffic and SEO greatness for your blog…cut the crap, and put some of that money away.

Here’s an alternative program that I’ve used to help bring more traffic to my blog (yeah, THIS ONE).

It’s by my friend Sean Tan, someone I’ve worked with before.  He’s a respectful and reputable guy who’s not going to take your money, and set yourself up for spam lawsuits.  Sean’s e-course is a 5-Module multimedia course that will bring some drastic changes to the amount of traffic your blog will get.

Definitely check out his e-course on blog traffic for $7 at:

Make Money Online With a Dead Guy?!

Hey there readers. I saw this post while I was surfing around on Technorati, and to be honest I found it truly interesting to say the least. I always like reading what other people write, so I figured I’d let you read about it:

Make Money Online With a Dead Guy by Garry Conn

True story about how ebooks saved my life, and can save yours…

Hey there readers!

I hope you were one of the hundreds who downloaded my ebook “30 Tips for Ebook Authors” that I started to give away yesterday by Jimmy D Brown. I hope it inspired you to at least get into the ebook game.

The reason why I want you to download this book so bad, is because people keep asking me about getting ONE thing right online. And honestly, if you have your own ebook, you can’t go wrong at all.

So, what can you do with an ebook of your own? Check it out:

* Bribe people to sign up to your list
* Sell it and make some profit (and build a list of paying customers)
* Use it as a bonus for other people’s product packages and launches
* Build credibility for yourself or your business
* Pre-sell another product that you’re an affiliate for

Seriously, every internet marketer especially in the ‘internet marketing’ and/or network marketing niche uses ebooks to leverage themselves to either build their list, build their reputation, or just build a bigger bank account. Think ebooks won’t work for the average Joe like you and me?

Hmmmm….OK time for a case study!

Look at my ebook Ebay Profit Loophole

Do you know how much it cost me to create that ebook? NOTHING

An ebook is nothing more than a document…preferrably converted to PDF.

By having that ebook, I was able to do a lot. Crazy enough, that simple 20-page report of mine has done everything I mentioned earlier…

* I use it to bribe people to sign up to my list. If someone orders from one of my affiliate links, and they weren’t on my mailing list before, I use it to get them to sign up to my list afterwards.

* I sell it to make profit (of course! look at the website!) and it helps me build my mailing list (which of course YOU are on)

* I’ve used it as a bonus for two of my friend’s product launches last year and pulled an extra 150 subscribers as a result

* It’s definitely built my credibility as now I get more requests for consultations and other freelance services I provide…as well as now I get more people wanting me to promote their stuff. Now, I’m no longer the hunter, but the hunted (ooooo so macho sounding!)

* It presells another product or 2 that I truly recommend. If you didn’t notice, read the book.

So, from one simple 20-page report, I was able to do so many things, and mind you…it wasn’t that hard of an ordeal. Think I’m one heck of a writer? Well, on my SATs in high school, I got a 1250 on my SATs. Mind you, my verbal score was only 530…I really excelled in math, though.

So, according to the SATs (and my high school teachers) I’m horrible at English grammar and writing. I always suffered in my English classes, and almost took a remedial course in English in school…whereas, I was in Advanced Placement Calculus, yet my writing skills SUCKED! I believe I squeeked by high school with a D average in English, because I hated writing book reports and it definitely showed back then.

I even went on to Rutgers University here in the U.S. and did exceptional in my Calculus and marketing classes…but since there were freshman pre-requisites that required writing classes in my curriculum, that held me back, and eventually I had lost a scholarship over it, and ended up pulling myself out of school (since I couldn’t afford it anymore).

So, all in all, you don’t have to be a Ph.D or some Nobel prize writer to come up with an ebook that’ll boost your business and skyrocket your profit.

Interesting fact, there have been over 1600 customers for Ebay Profit Loophole, which translates into over $16,000 in gross (noticed I said GROSS) sales for me, my affiliates and my partners. My cut of that was $4000, but honestly, I had it as a $7 product using that infamous script…so I wasn’t collecting sales off it anyway. I only switched to clickbank because the script was giving my webhost problems. But in the end, since switching, it put an extra $4K in my pocket over a few months, as well as a list of people I can truly call FRIENDS.

Mind you, this all started from a simple 20-page report that I (the writing expert) wrote up one day. I wrote it while I was actually on the job, bored out of my mind. And the only reason I did it was everyone that I was talking to stressed to me the importance of having my own actual book to help me boost my own business.

Think you can’t do it? Think again! You have all the tools you’ll ever need to write up an ebook and convert it to a PDF.

You have a computer, right? (DUH!)

You have a word processor. Even old versions of Windows come with Wordpad, the oldest of the old.

If not, just remember that you can easily go to Google Documents and not only type up your book, but also convert it to PDF right there.

Seriously, it’s not that hard my friend! It doesn’t matter what niche you wanna enter, or how much money you have…you can do it.

Hey, if I could do it while working for Wal-Mart, living in a tiny 1 bedroom apartment in a neighborhood taken over by Bloods, crackheads and hookers, anyone can do it.

And I’m not lying about that either. Now I have a 4-BR apartment for me and my family, where I turned one room into my private office.

I used to live right across the street from a crackhouse ran by members of the Bloods gang. I saw crack cocaine sales right outside my window, and even noticed a crackhead sleeping right in front of my place once. I had my old car broken into, vandalized, kicked and dented by bad a$$ kids, and couldn’t go to sleep ’til 3AM in the morning every night.

Not because of my internet marketing, but because of the fights over money and drugs, loud music and the heavy police activity with their loud blaring sirens and such all night long. And you have to throw in the EMTs too, since five people died on that same street that year. One was right in front of a elementary school during school hours, which really depressed the area.

Now, I don’t live in that section anymore, as I live in a much better part of town with peaceful people, a bigger place where I’ve had no problems, and more comfort for me and the family.

Crazy enough, it all started changing once I wrote up that ebook, Ebay Profit Loophole. The sales that came in helped me out. The leads I acquired helped too. The boost for my business’ reputation brought more customers, prospects and even new partners.

Seriously, if I had not have written ebooks, I’d still be trying to raise both my children out of a tiny cramped 1BR apartment in the middle of the ghetto. And probably, I would’ve been locked up for having to do the unthinkable again to make ends meet. Yes, I used to do my dirt back then, and I’m not proud of it. But I turned over a new leaf once I saw my oldest, my daughter, being brought into this world. That made me change up the game plan, so thank God for ebooks.

With all that being said, I want to introduce you to an ebook that I purchased and read last year that really helped me out when it came to writing my first ebooks. Now, the author is actually one of internet marketing’s most elite, as SHE is a ghostwriter for many of the so-called ‘gurus’ that you’ve drained your bank account over. Yes, she was responsible for that, since he wrote their ebooks and even some of their sales letters.

Her name is Tiffany Dow, and her book is called “Building an Ebook Empire“. All jokes aside, after I read this and released Ebay Profit Loophole (with success), I emailed her back and thanked her. Now, there’s only a few people that I have personally emailed my thanks and regards to. She was one. When you teach me something that has a significant life-changing effect on you, I’m not only going to thank you, but I’m also going to tell the world about what you did for me.

Can it do something for you? Well, I know so. Look at my story above. It’s 100% real…I can’t make that stuff up, and who would want to? You know what type of situation you’re in. You know you want it to change. You just think…”it’s never going to happen to me”. You think you’re in such peril that it prevents you from doing what you know you have to do to make some coin online.

I was that person. You don’t know how many times I’ve thrown my keyboard, mouse, cell phone in frustration. Trust me, I can show you the patches in the wall at my old place where my cell phone used to play tag with the wall. LOL I hated days when I logged into Clickbank to see a big phat ZERO. I dreaded days where my Paypal account would read $0.00.

And in all honesty, it didn’t start working until I wrote up my first ebook and just sold it! I will admit that my first ebooks I used to sell on Ebay w/ a $20 featured listing. But even at that…ebay didn’t charge me that $20 until the end of the auction. So for 7 days, I would be out there hitting people when they were outbidded on similar auctions, and get them to buy my ebooks for a cheaper price. That started building my list. I had a nice 30 people on my list from Ebay.

But in the end, the money, the notoriety, the success, it wouldn’t have been possible without God (first and foremost), my own ebook…and Tiffany Dow’s “Building an Ebook Empire“. This was the book that I read that got me making my own ebooks to leverage my business.

So, I’m going to stop ranting and raving about my ‘rags to riches’ story, and simply show you the step-by-step guide that got me going with all of my online ventures…

Building an Ebook Empire

Don’t sell yourself short. Anyone who has a right mind, and has something to say, teach or pass on can write an ebook and build an online business from nothing (like I did). So do me a favor and build your own ebook empire, will ya?

T.M.
